About me: Gideon James Matthews, the only child to medical surgeons Carrick and Helena Matthews was born in Seattle, Washington on a gloomy day. As the only child, Gideon was loved and well taken care of. After he was born, his mother ended her career as a doctor and stayed at home to take care of Gideon, while his father, Carrick, continued to work at the hospital.
