Jake's fairly down-to-earth, smart, kind, loyal, and protective as hell. Jake's known to be creative, especially when it comes to finding solutions to problems. As a kid, Jake learned how to fight to protect himself, being from Edge Keys brought about a reputation of sorts. Much of the community from Edge Keys was looked upon as trash, they didn't have a lot, but they had family and they had their small community. Being 'Edge Key trash' people didn't expect much from him, he got into a little trouble here and there, but even so he always meant well.

Jaime Reyes was born and raised in the Edge Keys, Palmera City, Texas. Jaime grew up with two hardworking parents, his crazy but talented uncle Rudy, his Nana, and, his younger sister Milagro. The Reyes were just like any other family in the Keys, they had an auto shop and everyone busted their asses to help the family stay afloat. After high school, Jaime took off to attend college at Gotham Law, by age twenty-two he graduated and returned home. Life took an unexpected turn when he went to get himself and his family a job with Kord Industries, only to be left with what he didn't know was some 'world-destroying weapon' and against his better judgment, he opened the box it was in. Jaime's world got flipped upside down when the scarab decided to choose him.
'Jake' Came to be an alias after Jaime got into trouble with the powerful Victoria Kord, he needed to keep a low profile after everything went down.
