 Niko Weston: A promiscuous Briar starts a secret relationship with her father's chauffeur Culhane knowing she has a flirtatious relationship with Branson's friend and business rival, Benjamin’s nephew Niko she agrees later on to marry Benjamin's nephew, Niko, to secure Benjamin's assistance when her father's company runs into financial trouble. A jealous Culhane tells Branson about Briar’s arrangement, causing friction between father and daughter. When Niko learns that his marriage is just part of a business deal, he embarrasses Briar by drunkenly broadcasting the details to a room full of party guests. Briar is sympathetic to Niko, but still does not feel she can return his love. Due to her feeling so bad about this she stays with him to give the marriage a try. Over time she starts to believe she is falling for him so they gave it a shot when it came to having a kid. After a few tries Kenna Iris Weston was born. While raising their daughter together Briar slowly began to realize that she still wasn’t in love with Niko and never has been. She began to resent the fact that she stayed in the marriage and let herself have a child with this man. She did the only thing she knew she could do to break his trust. She ran back to Culhane for comfort and it really backfired in her face because they hooked up and she became pregnant as a result of the affair. This ultimately caused the end of the marriage she had with Niko. Culhane Micahel Amherst: is the son of Luella and James Amherst and the older brother of Evie. He received a football scholarship for college but his football career ended suddenly. Micahel was still determined to graduate, and his parents wanted him to succeed. James took out a second mortgage and got another job to help support Culhane through college. Culhane graduated with decent grades but didn't find a job suitable enough that would make his parents proud. Culhane somehow became employed by multi-millionaire Branson Inez as his driver. Culhane knew his parents would disapprove of him being employed under a rich white family. He then lied to his parents about his real function in the Inez empire, making them believe he was a vice president of CA. During his time with the Inez's, Culhane began a passionate love affair with Branson's daughter and Niko's wife, Briar and get's her pregnant.
 Anneliese Beatrix Visser-Inez: Briar adopted her after her parents died in a car crash in 2001. She was three years old at the time. The rest of the story is up to the taker. As far as her relationship with Briar they are very close and they get along very well.
