11/16/2022 04:10 PM  OPTIONAL TASK 389 Bowie had received a call from her best friend Benjamin. He was coming back to town for the day with Love, as he had some things to take care of. He had asked her to meet up in the afternoon so they could hang out, and of course she agreed. It seemed like forever since the two had last seen each other. She was excited to see him, but she also knew her heart would hurt all over again when he had to leave. She wished he would return to town. But he had started a life somewhere new now. He had left his life in Hartsville behind, which included her. Taking a deep breath she headed out to the front porch and waited for his car. When he pulled up she got in and the two went for a drive. They found themselves at a drive in and watched a movie before heading to the beach. The two walked and talked, and took in the scenery. They even got ice cream. It was a beautiful afternoon. They then went for dinner, and drove up in the hills so they could watch the sunset and stargaze. It was just like old times. She wanted it to last forever, but forever was impossible. He drove her home and walked her up to her door. “Thanks for a wonderful day” she said to him. “You’re welcome! I wanted it to be special, I’ve missed you” he replied. “I’ve missed you too” she said. “Benny listen...” she paused for a moment. “If I asked you to stay would you?” she asked. A sigh escaped his lips. “I wish I could, but I can’t. Right now it’s too painful. I’m sorry Bow” he said. She nodded “it’s okay I understand” she said. 11/09/2022 12:46 PM  OPTIONAL TASK 387 Bowie had gone to Aspen to visit her sister. She was recording some new songs and doing a few performances. She’d invited Bowie along, and since Bowie missed her so much she easily agreed. Bowie woke and headed out to an early morning snow yoga class. It was incredibly peaceful and a little bit magical. After class she arrived back at the cabin before her sister was even awake. She showered and got ready before heading to the kitchen. Bowie made some breakfast and a coffee and sat down and ate. Her sister then came out of her room. “Morning! Sorry I can’t hang with you today. I’m booked in for a long recording session” Avery said. Bowie smiled at her “it’s okay don’t worry about it. Your work is important I understand” she replied. “You going to be okay on your own?” Avery asked. Bowie nodded “I’ll be perfectly fine” she said. “Okay well I’ll be back at six and then I am going to take you to dinner” she firmly said. Bowie chuckled “okay I’ll see you at ox. I’ll be here” she said before hugging her sister and saying goodbye. Bowie finished up and made a little picnic and threw it in her bag, then headed out on a hike. She wanted to spend the day out in nature. It was her happy place. Following the long trail she snapped some photos along the way. The time seemed to pass so quickly. She found a quiet spot and stopped and had some lunch. Then continued on the hike. She spotted a snowy owl and snapped a few photos. She noticed a storm rolling in so began heading back. The storm seemed to be rolling in quickly so she began running. A staff member noticed her and told her to come into her cabin until the storm passes. She agreed. Grabbing her phone she texted her sister explaining the situation and that she may be late back to the cabin. She sat with the worker who she found out was named Anna. They chatted and drank hot chocolate. When the storm passed Anna have Bowie a ride on her snow mobile. She thanked Anna for her kindness and then headed into the cabin. “I’ve been worried sick! here the hell were you!?” Avery said. “Well good to see you too” she replied. Looking at her phone she realised it was 7:00pm. “I’ve been waiting. I tried calling and texting and I got nothing” Avery said. “Actually I texted you” Bowie replied. Holding up her phone she showed her the text she sent. “Well I never got it” Avery said. Bowie took Avery’s phone and chuckled “probably because it’s on airplane mode” she said before handing it back. “Oh” she said. “Well I’m going to freshen up then we can head out” Bowie said before heading up to her room to get changed. 0 Comments

Leaving an old pumpkin outside and seeing what animals engage with it is beautiful. Autumnal hikes are glorious and always enjoyable.  Baking fall treats is a must on this bucket list. Who doesn't love Candy apples? Making and then eating... yum! Bonfire in the woods, on a cool night.  Harvestint vegetables and making soups and stews. Put those green fingers to the rest. Fall festivals... fall isn't over yet so getting one last even in. Picking apples for baking and regular eating. I just hope it's not a cold day 0 Comments
