Biography: Veronica "Ronnie" Munson is the youngest child born into the Munson family. At age five, mother just left one day and never came back. At age seven, Ronnie became partly deaf in her left ear after her father threw a beer glass bottle and eventually was arrested for hurting her along with stealing some cars. She along with her brother was sent to live with their Uncle Wayne at Forest Hills Trailer Park. Ronnie idolizes her older brother; she wants to step out of his shadow.
Throughout growing up, Ronnie becomes her own person of one day of either being an Artist or a Fashion Designer. She only has about two friends but is considered a loner. Ever since being abused by her father, has had a few trust issues. More of an observer judging people on how they act and can tell if the person is good or not. Of course, she's picked on because being Eddie Munson's little sister along with wearing clothes that were considered "odd" or "different" from everyone else. Ronnie trusts her brother's words when it comes to people on who's cool and who's trash.
Spring of 1986, Ronnie stayed the night at a friend's house and comes back to Forrest Hills Trailer Park to see cops swarming around her Uncle's trailer; hearing that Chrissy Cunningham was found dead inside with Eddie being the suspect. She knows that her brother wouldn't kill her because Ronnie knew that Eddie always had a crush on Chrissy and wouldn't dare of hurting her. Ronnie vows to protect her brother's innocents and help to find him throughout Hawkins.
Hey, hun! No worries, you don't need to apologize; I do understand. I'm a patient girl, lol.
Both of the ideas are so cool and up Luna's alley! We can do both ideas as in the previous book situation, giving them a base to start with, and the 2nd time (which can be the starter, if preferred) is the on-the-way home situation. It'd give more room for them to chat for a while unless Ronnie is the type to cut classes because Luna is the type to stay with someone until they feel they have calmed down.
Luna didn't grow up with her cousins; she grew up in NYC. A quick summary is Jack Sinclair was with Luna's mom, Loretta when she was sober. Unfortunately, she relapsed, and he didn't know she was pregnant(hell, Loretta didn't know either). Luna grew up with her until around 15-ish, when she showed up at Jack's door and admitted she was his daughter. He sends her to Hawkins for a few reasons; one is her behavioral issues, two is he's a single father and hard to navigate that with her, and three is revealed in RPs. He does make a show that he didn't abandon her (he's very in her life) but felt that being around an entire family is better for her mental health and such.
I love Ronnie, too, and I have ideas for little adventures. I've been watching a lot of 80s and 90s sitcoms, so some may be corny thinking, but I dig it. xD
I hope your holiday season greets you with peace, comfort and love. Whether you celebrate or not, you deserve it. This may be a generic greeting but, I know who I send it to. I see you, I cherish you, and you matter. If you are feeling alone, reach out anytime even if we don't know each other. All my love, light and warmth.
As Jason spoke of the rumours, Hannah listened. She eyed her sandwich and wondered, briefly, if she was giving herself away. If her lack of attention on their kidnapper was a dead giveaway.
She was being paranoid.
But the situation called for it. Any wrong move, any misunderstood movement or sideways glance could be percieved as knowing. As being aware of more than they let on. To let Jason know they were lying was to allow him an excuse to attack them. To harm them.
And Hannah didn't want to give him that chance.
"Jay, listen, neither of us know anything about that." Hannah looked at him as she spoke softly, calmly. "If that's what she did, we can help you find out. You just need to let us go. You can even follow us to bus stations when we talk to people."
Hannah knew she had to promise him anything she could, say whatever would work to get Jason to just let them go. More pleas and promises were poised to come out of her mouth but then Ronnie slumped over.
Instantly, Hannah did her best to check Ronnie's pulse. To see she was still breathing and still alive, just knocked out. The food had been drugged and it made Hannah grateful that she didn't touch any. Jason could say he didn't drug it but could she trust him?
After all, he had her tied up with Ronnie.
"What if she's hurt? What if you accidentally gave her too much?" Hannah snaped at him, shooting a glare Jason's way. "You have to get her to a hospital, Jason, this isn't a joke now." There was venom in Hannah's voice now, a rage in her.
It was one thing to kidnap them, hold them hostage and make idle threats, but an entirely different thing to have Ronnie pass out. To drug food and water.
"Seriously, you can't expect this to work. I swear, we'll help you find Chrissy but you need to get Ronnie to a hospital. What if she dies?"
Oooo~ do dish dish on those ideas! I'm curious to hear especially since they're bouncing off the idea of Luna getting physical with someone for Ronnie. XD. She doesn't even have to know her all the way, again, Luna may seem like a douche but she don't care for them "popular" crew. she and Lucas have some oppositions on it, but that's a story for another time, lol.
My weekend was so-so, it had a lot of people resting, but I'm good now.. except for my throat, still sore 😭. Oh, that's good you got to see the movie and finished the book! I haven't tried the hunger games anything yet, I'm abit slow on these things! 😂.
Hey - I appreciate ya for checking in. Means a lot. 💜 You're a treasure. I'm uh, surviving. Been hard to find the time to be around here, as much as I'd like to. New job's been killin' me. Hope you're doing alright. Hope life's being kind.
CHRISSY! Eyyyyy. Good to see your other muse!
I'm definitely down for banter or chit-chat anytime! 😎 Still trying to catch up desperately writing wise, but I'm also down for that too.
