Porter is known to be the life of the party, he can make the most invisible person in the room feel 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 and he's known to be kind-hearted guy, always leading a helping hand for his struggling peers, offering classes under the professor's eyes, offering study sessions and cram diaries of his notes. He comes from a rich family, who rather throw money at him than take him and his feelings into consideration, his father was a heavy drunk and his mother was complacent to his achievements he could never seem to measure up in either his mother's or father's eyes. His father took to beating him due to his grades even though he only ever got one ― 𝘼, in the entirety of his elementary to high school experience. He is the youngest of six children, he uses his smarts to get further in life, he's often described as a light in the swimming cesspool of darkness, and he never allowed the abuse get to him. He dreams of becoming an 𝘌𝘕𝘎𝘓𝘐𝘚𝘏ᴛᴇᴀᴄʜᴇʀ seeing as his ENGLISH teacher helped him out in HS more than he'd ever care to admit.
𝐓𝐇𝐄 ᴘᴀꜱᴛ
Porter was and always would the smartest out of his five siblings, in their earlier years they all spent their time, getting high and drinking away their home life away, where alas he studied and crammed, and came out as the smartest out of the bunch, but that didn't shelter him from the ᴀʙᴜꜱᴇ his father inflicted on him. Always blaming him for his problems due to being the runt of his liter. He took it with stride and yes it sometimes affects him, but he doesn't let that abuse control his everyday life, he was diagnosed with manic depression and serve anxiety to which he takes 𝐊𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 to aid him his uphill battle he struggles with but you could never truly tell he's struggling because he never wanted nor wants to amount as a burden in someone else's eyes, so he silently struggled through his youth / his ᴀᴅᴏʟᴇꜱᴄᴇɴᴄᴇ.𝐓𝐇𝐄ᴘʀᴇꜱᴇɴᴛ. Now attending ᴡꜱᴜ 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐫, he finds himself slipping into these depression spurs, the past coming into the picture, the feeling of a back-handed remarks and the multiple failed relations, friends and lovers coming to take a huge blow to him. At twenty one he is the second youngest to take the mantle of the PRECENCY of 𝐏𝐇𝐈 𝐊𝐀𝐏 followed with his vice president 𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚎𝚛 𝚃𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚋𝚕𝚊𝚢. His grades never altering but his past inflicting him more than he cared to ever admit, he finally seeked help and he's working on getting himself back on track but remember everyone often falls, it getting up that's the struggle, knowing there is a chance of a possibility that you will fall harder the next time. Porter is still that bright persona, offering classes and help for his peers, he gets scarification out of helping the little man, even has a butt loads of friends and some foes, which he never was one to hate, no matter what you did to him, will he survive college life, or parish?
