About me: Joe is my most in-depth character. What started as a fan rendition of Joe Perry of Aerosmith became an OC. Please don't let this drive you away from giving him a chance. Much of him has changed since the last five years.
Tall, dark, and handsome, Joe has Italian and Jewish roots. He is a workaholic, which in itself is a trait that can hold back your personal life. He longs for a wife and more children to provide for. He has been wading through a thick mist for the past several years and just recently found the light. He has reached the level of success he wanted as an underground music artist. He is a maestro on the guitar but keeps a low profile. For his son's sake, he does not wish to become a superstar.
The majority of his music is instrumental but is quite complex and melodic. Perry plays a variety of genres of rock music; blues, rock n' roll, hard rock, alternative, and sometimes metal. Composing new material is a frequent activity of his. He mostly credits Jimmy Page, Buckethead, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, and Tony Iommi as his influences in the art of guitar. He and his band are like a brotherhood. Joe is closest to his rhythm guitarist, Charlie. Joe took the honor of being a godfather to his friend's daughter, Cali.
A man of many talents, he could have been a college graduate, a successful professional boxer or MMA fighter, a trophy hunter, a stunt driver, an award-winning chef, a military service member like his father, or an author. But for Joe, music was his calling. He has no musical roots on either side of his family. Joe makes cash on the side from his mechanic shop he opened in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
Joe fits in a modern setting, 80s, 90s, anything within that range. Settings mean a lot to me. I'm sure this gives a clear hint that I do not tie him to one love interest. Though I may if the chemistry in and out of character is there.
In a relationship, he is a very passionate lover. Joe can be described as a soft dominant, although he does have a controlling side that emerges if he believes in something that benefits his partner. He does swing both ways but prefers to be intimate with women, as they are long-term relationship material for him. He prefers to stay on the more traditional side of things. Despite being in his early thirties he still finds time for one-night stands and flings to satiate his high libido.
The lowest I will go is multi-para when it comes to starters and responses. I'm paranoid about losing my touch. I refuse to write with those who do anything less and make me do all of the brainstorming. I will not tolerate laziness.
