The bickering and childish mortal like declarations began to irritate Zeus, so he made a deal with his brother, Hades, and banned all the Gods to Earth. Their powers limited, forced to live among the mortals in New York City.
it was another late night at the Stardust diner. It was always a late night since Cooper's mother received her diagnosis. While she was regularly in and out of the hospital, his father was either at her side or in his office drunk. Cooper had opted to drop out of school and help the family business in any way he can. When he grew desperate for money, cooper sold sh*tty weed to former classmates and competed in a secret underground fight club. anything to keep the roof over his parents head, keep the diner open and keep being able to pay for his mother's treatments. He recognized the woman that had entered the diner and took a seat at the bar. Maybe she was a regular? The boy walked up to the counter as she took a seat and poured a cup of coffee for her. "You must really like the service here." The boy said with a chuckle, bruises on his face still an angry purple from his last fight.
