Spirited Away [part I]

Spirited Away.

Everything was falling apart and he didn't understand why. Nakahara was racking his brain. He had her away from the mutt. His female servant Akiko was the great granddaughter of the female servant that Asami had all those years ago. Yet Jubilee didn't recognize her and still still didn't recognize him. He had not laid a hand on her except to place the nullifer around her neck so she couldn't use her mutant abilities to get away from him. Akiko had dressed Jubilee in that kimono. He had been the perfect gentleman in his eyes.

Akiko nodded to him as she passed by carrying a tray of green tea and the tea set that had actually belonged to Asami once. He could tell by the look in the mortal woman's eyes that she had willingly complied with his order to put another vial in Jubilee's food and her tea. That vial was in fact his own blood. If she would not of her own volition remember who she was, surely his back up plan was going to work. He stood in the den of the cabin just within earshot of Jubilee's room. She would see he's not the monster but the mutt is. She had to see it! He'd ruined their lives over 140 years ago and he was doing it again now.

Nakahara's vampric senses could hear the scuffle outside the door. Shishido-Sama was leading his ninjas against the fools who had followed his uncle here. That was sloppy on his uncle's part, but at least he'd killed the other mutt who had the misfortune of stumbling across the cabin. The dead could tell no secrets, so he was self assured there. That overconfidence would be short lived however. He had not counted on Jubilee's foster mother being Moonstar of the X-Men and in communication with the spirit world. The blood curdling war cry of Moonstar made Nakahara's eyes turn obsidian. The veins surrounding his eyes darkened to give his vampire face an intimidation factor that was off the charts to the average human and comparable to that of Pietro Maximoff. He used his vampire speed to evade the arrow that Jubilee's foster mom had shot at him.

He kicked down the door to Jubilee's bedroom with the greatest of ease. His speed was beyond anything a human eye could detect. Jubilee screamed at the monstrous sight of him. He had not wanted any of this to transpire in the way it was. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to him. “Your mutt and your mother are here. Logan-Sama will be dead soon enough at the hands of The Monster Gorgon.”

Terror was etched across the fine features of the woman he'd loved for these years. Her fear and apprehension did reach through to the last vestige of humanity he had left. “Just trust me, Asami.” He breathed. “ๆ„›ใ™ใ‚‹ไบบใ‚ˆใ€็งใฏใ‚ใชใŸใ‚’ใใ‚Œใ‚‰ใ™ในใฆใ‹ใ‚‰ๆ•‘ใ„ใพใ™ใ€‚” [My Love, I will save you from them all.]

Jubilee was confused and frightened. Why did he just call her Asami? He had pulled her out of that bedroom after he zipped in there as fast as Quicksilver. She had no idea he could do that. Now his face looked like a monster complete with fangs. Jubilee knew that Dani was there. She screamed for all she was worth one simple word. “MOOOOOMMMM!”

[The conclusion of this post will be done from Jubilee's account. I write both characters.]
