The name's Lucy Carlyle,I was born into a world where ghosts are all around us though they typacilly show up at night. I am the seventh kid and the youngest of my 6 siblings but I am the only one who has a special talent as it were. You see some of us are born with the ability to seeb the aura of a person after they die or in my case are able to 'Listen' meaning that whenever I tiuch something I can litterly hear the history of the object or place in my mind.
My mother sent me to one of the biggest agencies of Ghost Hunters. You see in my world there are agents who deal with the ghosts and every agent has a sword so seeing someone with one by their side tells people that they are an agent in one of the many different agencies around the world.
I went to one of them and even made myself a friend who was a fellow agent and we made a plan to escape together to London and put everything else behind us but all that changed when our supervisor decided to send us to a highly huanted and very dangerous mansion aand didn't beleive me when I told him that it was giving me bad feels.
He was too much of a coward to go in with us and when shit went down and all my team mates were trapped I ran out to get his help but he brushed me off and drank from his flask.
I ran back in only to find my friend had escaped but she was 'Ghost Touched' which in most cases is fatal and in others just sends a person into a comma that they never wake from like what happened to my friend.
Naturally I was blaimed for the entire thing and my statuse as an agent was revoked...twankers beleiving the lies of that scared little man. Any way I was sent home and the next day me mom came to me and told me that I need to go back and say sorry to that damned man and so I gathered my things and escaped through the window never to look back.
I found myself in London but no agency would higher me until I saw the add in the paper for Lockwood and Co and so I went to check them out.
When I got there a boy named Goerge accepted me in and took me to the main room where a giorl had just run scared from. He had me sit down and introduced his co worker Anthony Lockwood. They had me touch things and tell them what I sensed from them and when I got it all correctly I was accepted.
Goeorge had his doubts but Anthony told him that I fit right in and so we started to work together as three kids with no adult supervisor which didn't help our case much at times but any way.
We had many cases together but one of those cases just vgot me and it turned out to be a murder mystery. We found the real killer eventually though he almost killed us first but we let his own murder victim have her revenge and so he died from it...oops oh well that was tecnically self defence.
We had to sign a paper saying we wouldn't talk about what we found out and we were let go after that. One day the skull that George kept around the house spoke to me and that is how I found out that I could also talk to the spirits which in our day and age was tecnically impossible and only one other was able to ever do so.
Any way listening to that type 3 ghosts almost got us killed more than once and Anthony's obsession to solve cases quickly didn't help the matter either.
Any way long story short we had a case that delt with a mysterious and dangerous mirror that George looked into and got obsessed by it but we were able to save him on time. Well tecnically George and I saved each other because at the time Anthony got himself shot by a mysterious agent with a golden saber who told him that his parent's murders were not important and that his own death won't matter either.
We were able to get him help before the gun shot killed him and he told us everything we needed to know. So now we are on the hunt for answers yet again,though this time it is to figure out who that man was,what he meant and who the hell he is working for as well.
