Who I'd like to meet: Coralie had been frolicking in the great gardens of the Faerie realm for as long as she could remember. Life was peaceful there and joyous. It was a simple life full of wonder and happiness abundant. But one day everything changed..there was a rip and people no..vampires entered. All turned to chaos and no one knew where to turn or where to run. In the chaos, Coralie found herself pushed out into the human realm. Here she tried keeping her sunny disposition but things were not the same. Here dangers lurked around every corner, human and supernatural specially vampires alike. She found herself being targeted many a time by vampires for her sweet blood. She had been lucky so far that none had drained her. And this place was so dirty and dismal compared to her far off home. One day she would find a way to make her way back home..or so she hoped..

"Go home and sober up. Your keys will remain here" is what nikolas heard Paul the bartender explained. Taking the keys from nikolas hand. He feels a hand on his shoulder as Paul escorts him out of the bar. "I understand you lost a case, but drinking isn't going to help things" Nik let out a sigh and a small grumble knowing Paul has a point. Exiting out onto the sidewalk. A few people walk pass and entered the goose end bar. The evening had turned into night with a small rain storm brewing. Streetlights are on, neon signs are on. He needs to get home before anything decides to happen. Sure the town isn't that big. There is crime especially when it's a Friday night.
Suddenly, a loud thunder noise can be heard. Followed by flashes of light streaming across the skies. Nikolas opened up the small umbrella and began walking. The rain drops making tap, tap noises. A few cars drive pass hitting small pot holes. Sending water that already formed in the holes elsewhere. Nikolas has lived a decent normal life. He grew up in a rich part of town with two loving parents and two siblings. Up until his teen age years. His parents had a falling out. His father disappeared to parts unknown. his mother just raised him and his two siblings alone. He was taught how to fight and be independent. Also taught to help others.
The rain went from droplets to becoming heavy now. Some people ran for cover. Nikolas continued walking. His apartment condo is two more blocks. He stumbled a bit due to how slightly drunk he is , but not too drunk. That he isn't aware of things. That is how he notices the random female standing in the rain. Getting some what drenched. "Hey, are you okay" he asked, walking closer. He can see how wet her clothes is becoming. So nikolas hovered the umbrella over her. Causing some of the rain to stain on his blue suit jacket. And on the white dress shirt underneath. His shoes slightly wet due to the small puddles on the sidewalk.
"Are you okay" he asked once more "Do you need any help" he continued speaking to the female. Unaware that him stopping to help and speak to the female. Nik has gotten himself into some danger. In that moment a heavy downpour happened. Louder thunder with flashes of light streaming across the skies. "Maybe we should get out of this storm" he said in a raised voice over the noise all around them. Unaware that a van pulled up not far from them. Two men get out. That appear to have some funny business planned.
Nikolas is trying to understand the female. When he notices the reaction on her face. One of horror, but by the time he goes to turn around. Pain explodes in the back of his head. He blacked out and collapsed not on to the floor but into the arms of the unknown assailant. He is vaguely aware of screams before everything goes quiet. His unconscious form is dragged into the van that is in the alley right near them.
