Many people knew that The Red Hood was notorious for doing what other children of Batman wouldn’t. However, he was also known for being one of the most reliable vigilantes despite his rough exterior. The Outlaw had always made sure his own men and women [Hoodlings as he called them] carried something of his insignia to show who they worked for. But also, he could track them.
Fewer however; got specialized keychains that had no traceability unless turned on. They were one cash in beacons that connected to a bracelet the once Robin always had wrapped around his wrist. This keychain came with the acknowledgement that the Red Hood would come, no questions asked, and help with whatever it was that needed to be done. It was something he only gave those that he trusted not to misuse it. In times of dire need and help.
It would reach him no matter what time, place, or even dimension he was in. [Because of course he had that tested once or twice already]. Its design was his Red Hood symbol, made of reinforced metal Jason had tested a few unconventional ways….. meaning it couldn’t be crushed, warped, or melted by normal and not normal situations. [Because none of them lived normal lives or on normal planets]
To activate the beacon itself, the two halves slide open with a little force, revealing a button to be pushed and held down till a little red light inside of it turns on, activating the device. You are now in possession of one of these keychains after your last interaction with Jason. Do you think you would use it?
