→ Jaime Sommers spent most of her time on the tennis court rather it be practicing or playing matches. Jaime is approached by Steve when he returns to Ojai. The two of them catch up and end up being engaged which was short lived.
Jaime Sommers nearly lost her life in a sky diving accident, Steve Austin begged Oscar Goldman to save Jaime’s life. Hesitant Oscar gives the go ahead and puts bionics into Jaime. Both of her legs, her right arm and her right ear. Jaime can heard from miles and miles away and can easily open saves easily. She can run up to 60 miles per hour and with her bionic arm she can crush anything and everything.
A short time later Jaime had a bad reaction to her bionics and her body slowly rejected them. Her behavior changed for the worse and acted erratically.Her head started to pound some to the point where she had a blood clot at the base of her brain and cause her death on the operating table.
Thanks to Dr. Michael Marchetti and a cryogenic procedure the clot was removed successfully. Though the procedure saved her, she lost her memory. Every single memory wiped out, as time goes she slowly regains memories the pain goes away. Her head doesn’t hurt as much as it does before.
As Jaime recovers she helps out Oscar Goldman and the OSI, that was part of the agreement to save her life. Jaime goes on missions and sometimes helps Steve Austin as well.
Jaime ends up leaving the OSI after 3 years, she is tired of being an agent and tired of going on missions. She just wants a normal life and to do normal things.With some negotiations Jaime will continue to occasionally work for the OSI, she will not be their beck and call. She will not jump hoops for them.
Jaime finishes her education and she ended up completing her PhD in psychology and works with Rudy Wells and in a private practice.
