Who I'd like to meet: Cateline is Dauphine's (vampy princess) adopted mother and maker. She was born in 901 A.D in France where she soon met and befriended Sophie-Anne and was there when she ended up with child. She was the one told to take the babe and get rid of it. Instead she fled with the child vowing to keep it safe and hope to reunite Sophie Anne one day with her daughter. She raised the child till one day a lovely man came to their home and turned Cateline's world upside down. Suddenly she was a creature of the night and a small child to tend to while trying to kill it with her thirst for blood. Little is known what happened so far to Cateline's maker but she herself grew to be vindictive and bloodthirsty. When the child had just reached adult hood, Dauphine had grown quite sick and would have died but Cateline turned her and let her become reborn. From there they worked their way up the ranks of the night and controlled much of the land over vampire and human alike. They fought in many a battle and shed many a human life until they were hunted down in the late 70s I think is when she set that Dauphine met back with her bio mom. In some verses Cateline died by a priest and his cohorts hands and sent her progeny on a revenge spiral before finally rejoining her long lost mother. Cateline had mad sure Dauphine would be taken care of as over the many centuries, she had kept tabs on Sophie Anne and where she had been.
In an alternate verse, Cateline is still alive and Dauphine just thinks she is dead and then I'm still working on where she has gone from there. It's all still a work in progress.
